Carpenter (Full time)

We are seeking qualified carpenters for an immediate start in our small but growing business! We mainly undertake insurance repairs for some of the biggest insurance builders in the state, and have been running for 5 years with a highly reputable name in the insurance industry.
Our fantastic work culture and service area that includes Northern NSW, Brisbane, Ipswich, and everywhere in between, make this an exciting opportunity for the right candidate. The successful applicant must have their own tools and vehicle for carrying materials.

Responsibilities:
– Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, and other materials
– Install fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
– Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specifications and requirements
– Inspect and replace damaged frameworks or other structures and fixtures
– Work with other tradespeople, including electricians and plumbers, to ensure projects are completed to a high standard
– Comply with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work area

Requirements:
– Relevant qualification in Carpentry and White Card
– Minimum 3 years of experience in carpentry, insurance building experience is highly regarded
– Own tools and vehicle for carrying materials
– Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings accurately
– Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
– Good communication and interpersonal skills
– Willingness to work in a team environment and support colleagues when required
